Petr Kellner started his career by selling office supplies in 1990, and then started a business by founding investment fund PPF in 1991. He is a known name in the insurance industry of Czech Republic.
He made a massive advertising campaign, attracting and persuading investors to invest in his firm.
In 1991, after the announcement of Czechoslovak voucher privatization, he founded the investment fund PPF. The funds were very successful and purchased stock of more than 200 corporations with nominal value $5 Billion.
