Henry ford was an American Industrialist who was the founder of Ford Motor Company. He was the person behind the development of the assembly line technique of mass production.
Henry Ford was born in a farmer family. His father was a prosperous farmer. His father wanted him to join the farming occupation, but he wasn’t interested in the same.
After his mother’s death, Henry Ford felt very lonely. He slowly grew interest in machines from a very young age.
At the age of 15, he dismantled and assembled a pocket watch, given to him by his father.
He was particularly interested in watches, and he soon mastered the intricate mechanism of watches.
As soon as he reached 16, he left the house and went on to work as a machinist apprentice in Detroit.
He then went on to do several jobs like an apprentice in the Michigan car company, operated a steam engine, worked as an engineer in the Edison Illuminating Company.
He made his first vehical in the year 1896, a quadricycle. He wanted to open a horse carriages selling company, his first two attempts went in vain, but he finally succeeded to open the Ford Motor Company.
The total shares of the company came to $105,820,894 in the year 1919. In the 1920s, Henry Ford had enough money to pay off all the debts of his motor company.
This way Henry Ford built his vast empire, by starting his small experiments on gasolineengines.
Henry Ford owns his own real estate, which cost him and his wife $250,000 back in the day. Today, the heirs of the Ford family are running the house. The Ford Motor Company is the world’s second largest automotive manufacturer in the USA.
